CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT

The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program grants citizenship to individuals and their families through significant economic contributions. Citizenship can be granted in as little as three (3) months provided that the application has been approved. 

There are three (3) main ways in which citizenship can be obtained through this program: 

1) Sustainable Island State Contribution 

2) Approved Real Estate and 

3) Public Benefit Option.

Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC): Non-refundable donation of US$ 250,000 for the main applicant (plus spouse/dependents).
Approved Real Estate: Minimum US$ 325,000 in authorized developments (condominium units/shares) or US$ 600,000 for a private home, held for at least 7 years.
Public Benefit Option (PBO): Minimum US$ 250,000 contribution to approved public projects.

Note that St. Kitts and Nevis citizens can be citizens of other countries as well. The country is a member of the Commonwealth which comes with certain privileges in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries. Also, as a passport holder of St. Kitts and Nevis the passport is highly ranked with visa-free travel to over 150 countries including the United Kingdom and the European Union. As a citizen, there is no personal income tax, capital gains tax or an inheritance tax. St. Kitts and Nevis is ranked highly as a place to live and do business being classified as very high human development with high life expectancy, high literacy rate and high gross domestic product.
